The book was humorous, and blatently honest about all the icky and scary aspects of pregnancy. It's good to know what to expect and know if you are "normal." Humor takes the edge off, and it's somewhat comforting to know what others have gone through. I've loaned the book out several times and everyone has loved it. It comforted friends through pregnancy, and helped me make up my mind not to get pregnant. Rating: - Informative, surprising, and hysterically funny! Subtitled, "Everything Your Doctor Won't Tell You", this book provides a hilariously funny look at the surprising changes pregnancy brings. Informative, supportive, and above all, REAL. By the end of the book, you'll feel like you've been given great advice from your best friend - in fact you'll want Vicki Iovine to BE your best friend! A MUST read for all first time mothers-to-be (and a great choice for second, third, and fourth-time mothers). Rating: - Wonderful for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time moms I loved this book. I thought it was great. It doesn't give medical advice if that is what you are looking for but it sure will make you laugh. I think it is a must have for every pregnant woman. It helps keep your spirits up. Also nice to have a place to jot down notes about your pregnancy. I will buy it for any of my friends that get pregnant.
